Abstract

A liquid discharge apparatus includes: a conveyor (7) configured to convey a medium in a conveyance direction; a liquid discharger (21) configured to discharge a liquid onto the medium conveyed by the conveyor; a first superheated-steam discharger (31a) disposed downstream of the liquid discharger (21) in the conveyance direction, the first superheated-steam discharger (31a) configured to discharge first superheated steam onto the medium on which the liquid has been discharged; and a second superheated-steam discharger (31b) disposed downstream of the first superheated-steam discharger (31a) in the conveyance direction, the second superheated-steam discharger (31b) configured to discharge second superheated steam onto the medium on which the first superheated steam has been discharged.
