Abstract

The present invention relates to a sliding assembly (100) for a sliding device for a vehicle seat which comprises at least one anchoring mechanism (20), movable between an operative position, in which it is adapted to engage with the possibility of sliding a lower rail of a sliding device, and an inoperative position, in which it is adapted to be disengaged from said lower rail. The anchoring mechanism is brought from the operative position to the inoperative position by a combined movement including a translational movement component along a direction substantially perpendicular to the vehicle floor and a rotational movement component around an axis substantially parallel to the vehicle floor and oriented along the longitudinal direction. The sliding assembly (100) further comprises a locking element (10) for selectively engaging without possibility of sliding said lower rail. In a preferred embodiment, the sliding assembly further comprises a play recovery element (50) that allows compensation for any play between the sliding assembly and said lower rail in the three Cartesian directions.
