Abstract

The present invention relates to a bike carrier (2) for attachment to a vehicle (1), the bike carrier (2) having a basic structure (4) comprising, at a front end, a coupling device (8) for attachment to a vehicle (1), wherein the basic structure (4) defines a longitudinal direction (L), at least two retaining arrangements (19), wherein each retaining arrangement (19) is designed and arranged such that it can receive and carry a bike (3), wherein the retaining arrangements (19) are spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction (L), at least two support arm elements (29), which are held at the basic structure (4), wherein one support arm element (29) is assigned to each retaining arrangement (19).
