Abstract
The invention is a re-usable packing system (100) for storage and transport of elongate articles (E) such as extrusions of metal or plastics material used in construction. The packing system (100) includes a bracket (102) that has a base portion (106) that is configured to receive elongate supports on which the articles being stored/transported are placed in use. A pair of uprights (108) are pivotally mounted to the base portion (106). The uprights (108) include fastening members (114) which have an upper head that bears down on a top portion (116) of the bracket (102) that are engaged to the upper ends (108b) of the respective uprights (108). The bracket (102) is configured such that it has nesting functionality when multiple brackets are stacked upon each other.
