Abstract
Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are provided herein. A conveyor system comprises a central pathway configured to move items through the conveyor system along a direction of movement, a set of cartridges arranged sequentially in the central pathway, one or more diversion pathways coupled to the central pathway, and a controller configured to perform operations comprising generating tracking data representative of position information associated with items, determining based on item diversion data that an item should be diverted to a diversion pathway, and performing an actuation operation comprising rotating wheels of the cartridges in a first direction.
