Abstract
A textile machine (4), comprising conveying means (8) of at least one spool (12) comprising yarn (16) wound around a tube (18), said tube (18) being conveyed in a vertical direction (Y-Y), extending from a lower end (20) to an upper end (24) along said vertical direction (Y-Y), said wound yarn (16) defining an outer side wall (28) of the spool (12) and comprising a yarn end (32), vacuum means, configured to create a vacuum with respect to an external environment in which the textile machine (4) is located, a suction arm (40) having a body (42) delimiting a cavity (44), fluidly connected to said vacuum means at a connection end (48), the suction arm (40) ending, on the side opposite to the connection end (48), with a suction nozzle (52) having a slot configuration extending between a first end (54), directly facing said upper end (24) of the tube (18) and a second end (56), directly facing said lower end (20) of the tube (18), the suction nozzle (52) being shaped so as to suck said yarn end (32). The body (42) of the suction arm (40) is provided with a longitudinal slit (60) extending from the suction nozzle (52) towards the connection end (48), configured so as to receive the yarn end (32) and a portion of yarn (16) connected to said yarn end (32). Advantageously, the suction arm (40) is provided with closing means (64) selectively operable so as to at least partially occlude a portion of the longitudinal slit (60) comprised between the connection end (48) and the yarn (16) sucked inside the longitudinal slit (60) itself.
