Abstract
The invention is a horse riding saddle pad 100 comprising a saddle pad body 200 essentially formed of a polymeric foam. Said saddle pad body 200 comprises at least one cushion portion 211; 212, and on the upper side and/or on the lower side of said cushion portion 211; 212, a plurality of mutually parallel straight grooves 300 is obtained. At least some of said grooves 300 have a depth such as to allow said cushion portion 211; 212 to bend and/or twist to allow the saddle pad body 200 to adapt to the shape of the horse.
