Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a reversible vapour-compression refrigeration system 110 for a multi-compartment refrigeration unit. The refrigeration system 110 comprises: a refrigeration circuit 400 including a compressor 402, an outdoor heat exchanger section 500, a first indoor heat exchanger section 600A for a first compartment 24A and a second indoor heat exchanger section 600B for a second compartment 24B; and a controller 409 configured to operate the refrigeration circuit 400 in a cooling circuit direction 202 and a heating circuit direction.
