Abstract

The invention relates to a method and system adapted for monitoring and approving a quality of a product provided with a product-package, wherein the product comprises a nutrition-supplementary composition and is provided as a particulate material, and the product-package has a packing comprising foil based packing means with a set of foils and a closure in form of a weldseam at least at one location of the foil based packing means adapted such that the product is contained as a content in the packing. According to the invention the method for monitoring and approving a quality of a product provided with a product-package comprises i.a. the steps of: - at a determined later period of probe time (t2) after an initial period of service time (t1), approving the gas- and/or humidity-tight containment-property of a twin-packing for a twin-package and providing a test result, - wherein the test result is correlated (t3) with the quality parameter of the product in that - in the case the test result approves the gas- and/or humidity-tight containment-property the threshold of a quality parameter of the product are confirmed; - in the case the test result disapproves the gas- and/or humidity-tight containment-property, the threshold of a quality parameter of the product are disconfirmed.
