Abstract

An information processing system includes a processor configured to receive setting information for changing a setting of a target apparatus, extract, in a case where there are plural pieces of received setting information, conflict setting information in a conflict relationship from the plural pieces of setting information, acquire, for plural pieces of the conflict setting information, evaluation values regarding an effect of a function in a case where the setting of the target apparatus is changed by the conflict setting information, update at least one of the plural pieces of conflict setting information such that the conflict relationship is resolved, based on the evaluation values for the plural pieces of conflict setting information, and set, in the target apparatus, the plural pieces of setting information for which the conflict relationship is resolved.
