Abstract

A system (500) includes an information processing apparatus (2) and a terminal apparatus (1) connected to the information processing apparatus (2) via a network. The information processing apparatus (2) includes a compressed file creation unit (22) to compress a file to create a compressed file that includes validity period information and a script, and a transmission unit to transmit the compressed file created by the compressed file creation unit (22) to the terminal apparatus (1). The terminal apparatus (1) includes a storage unit (14) to store a decompression tool (15), a processing unit (101) to execute the decompression tool (15), and a display unit (12). The decompression tool (15) starts a decompression process on the compressed file received from the information processing apparatus (2), executes the script during the decompression process to acquire a system time of the terminal apparatus (1), and compares between the system time and the validity period information. In a case that the system time does not satisfy the validity period information, the decompression tool terminates the decompression process, and in a case that the system time satisfies the validity period information, the decompression tool decompresses the compressed file to obtain a decompressed file.
