Abstract
[Objective]To provide a method, an apparatus, and a program for managing greenhouse gases that enables corporations and others to manage an amount of greenhouse gas emissions to achieve target amounts of emissions and perform deliveries under conditions that bring emissions closer to the target.[Constitution]An apparatus includes: a package information acquiring unit (13) that acquires information regarding a package to be delivered; a delivery condition selecting unit (14) that selects delivery conditions for the package based on the acquired package information, such that an amount of greenhouse gas emissions associated with the delivery are less than or equal to a predetermined target amount of emissions; and a management unit (15) that manages greenhouse gas emissions according to the delivery conditions selected by the delivery condition selecting unit (14).
