Abstract

A method (800) and a system (100) for determining pipeline flow in a non-editable schematic illustration is disclosed. A processor detects a set of object-ROls corresponding to a plurality of object-entities. Entity metadata is determined from the set of object-ROls. Entity classification information is determined. A set of lines are determined. Position information of each of the set of lines is determined. One or more horizontal line clusters are determined. One or more vertical line clusters are determined. One or more pipeline nodes are determined. One or more intersection nodes are determined for each of the set of lines. Each of the one or more intersection nodes for each of the set of lines are classified as one of a source node or a sink node. A directed graph is created. The pipeline flow in the non-editable schematic illustration by determining a set of flow-paths based on the directed graph.
