Abstract

A computer implemented method for training a graph neural network, GNN, to classify a medical condition of samples using a biological dataset, comprising loading the biological dataset, the biological dataset comprising samples and the samples comprising features and a classification of the medical condition, extracting relationships between the features from a knowledge base, constructing, for the samples, graphs comprising nodes and edges between the nodes, wherein the nodes correspond to the features and the edges correspond to the relationships; and training the GNN with the graphs to provide the classification of the medical condition for the samples.
