Abstract

The invention relates to an electric switch assembly (1) comprising a first electrode (2), a second electrode (3), a switching member (6) rotationally fixed to the first electrode (2) about an axis, electrically connected with the first electrode (2) and electrically connectable with the second electrode (3), a vacuum interrupter (4) having a static electrode (42) electrically connected with the second electrode (3) and a slidable electrode (43) apt to be electrically connected with the static electrode (42) and the switching member (6), wherein the opening run of the switch assembly (1) comprises the following states: a working state (SW) in which the switching member (6) is electrically connected with the second electrode (3), a first bypass state (SB1) in which the switching member (6) is electrically connected with the second electrode (3) directly and via the slidable electrode (43), a second bypass state (SB2) in which the switching member (6) is electrically connected with the second electrode (3) only via the slidable electrode (43), and an open state (SO) in which the switching member (6) is electrically disconnected with the second electrode (3), and the closing run of the switch assembly (1) comprises the following states: the open state (SO), and the working state (SW). In order to provide a compact and simple electric switch assembly having improved electrical properties the electric switch assembly (1) further comprises means to maintain the disconnected position of the slidable electrode (43) and the static electrode (42) of the vacuum interrupter (4), and a conductive pusher assembly (5) fixed rotationally to the slidable electrode (43) in the plane of rotation of the switching member (6) and configured to be engageable by the switching member (6) to connect the slidable electrode (43) with the static electrode (42) only during the opening run of the switch assembly (1).
