Abstract

An electrode assembly, including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separator between the first electrode and the second electrode, wherein the electrode assembly is wound around a winding axis, and the first electrode includes a substrate including a first portion extending toward one side of the electrode assembly, the first portion having a first height, a second portion extending toward the one side of the electrode assembly, the second portion having a second height being different from the first height, and a mixture layer on a portion of the substrate.
