Abstract
Electric machine motor assemblies include suppressing materials for parasitic and/or bearing current reduction. An electric machine motor assembly including an electric motor configured to be driven by the electric power source, the electric motor including a stator frame, a stator winding attached to the stator frame, a rotor surrounded by the stator winding, a shaft extending from the rotor through the stator frame, and bearings between the shaft and the stator frame; and a suppressing material on the shaft.
