Abstract

A wiper arm (A) for a windscreen wiper device (W) for wiping a windscreen surface (S) of a vehicle, comprising an arm portion (50) with a first arm end portion (3) near a driving shaft, and a second arm end portion (11) for connecting a wiper blade (B); said wiper arm (A) further comprising a hinge assembly (1) for hingedly connecting said wiper arm (A) and said driving shaft; said hinge assembly (1) comprising:- a support member (2) for connecting to said driving shaft;- an insert member (4), fixed inside a first hollow space (5) of said first arm end portion (3), for connecting said hinge assembly (1) and said arm portion (50) and hingedly connected to the support member (2) by articulation means (6); and- elastic means (8) for connecting said support member (2) and said insert member (4) to each other.
