Abstract
A first aspect of the invention relates to a settlement joint tape (100) for use when plastering a wall (210) located beneath a ceiling (220), whereby the settlement joint tape comprises a first compressible layer and possibly also an adhesive layer on a first side of the settlement joint tape and/or a reinforcing layer on a second side of the settlement joint tape on the opposite side of the first side. A second aspect of the invention relates to a method for plastering a wall (210) located beneath a ceiling (220) whereby the aforementioned settlement joint tape is applied to the underside of the ceiling in an inner corner of the ceiling and the wall.
