Abstract

Navigation control system of a vessel, with operating units configured to perform navigation control operations and constituted by:- at least one steering unit of the vessel for setting a route;- at least one unit for controlling the condition of forward gear, reverse gear, and neutral of said propulsion system and at least one unit for regulating the propulsive thrust generated by the propulsion unit;- one or more trim adjustment units of the vessel that modify the static and/or dynamic floating trim of the hull in the water;- a control unit that processes the signals of one or more command signal generating members of said units, generating actuation signals of one or more actuators and/or of one or more control members configured to influence one or more of said navigation conditions relating to the steering of the vessel, to the condition of forward/reverse gear or neutral of the propulsion unit and/or of the thrust power delivered by said propulsion unit and of the setting of the dynamic trim adjustment unit or units of the vessel;- said control unit executes a control software that comprises the instructions for calculating the actuation signals of one or more actuators of one or more of said operating units for controlling the navigation conditions as a function of one or more of said command signals generated by means of said command signal generating members by means of an artificial intelligence algorithm.
