Abstract

The present invention relates to a method (100) for manufacturing a sole structure (240), preferably for a sports shoe (260), comprising the steps of: (a.) providing (110) a liquified polymer (230) and/or a polymer layer or parts thereof (233); (b.) arranging (120) the liquified polymer and/or the polymer layer or parts thereof onto a base layer (250); and (c.)curing (130) the liquified polymer; wherein the method comprises a first group of steps and/or a second group of steps, wherein the first group of steps comprises: (d.) partially curing (140) the liquified polymer (230) obtained in step b; and (e.) texturing (150) the partially cured polymer (231) before step c; wherein the second group of steps comprises: (f.) disposing (160) the cured polymer (232) obtained in step c and/or the polymer layer or parts thereof (233) obtained in step b in a mold structure (300) comprising a textured sole imprint (340); (g.) heating (170) the mold structure (300), preferably by applying steam into the mold structure (300), while pressing the cured polymer (232) and/or the polymer layer or parts thereof (233) against the textured sole imprint (340); (h.) heating (180) the cured polymer (232) and/or the polymer layer or parts thereof (233) in order to melt at least partially the cured polymer and/or the polymer layer or parts thereof (233), and to substantially mold the textured sole imprint (340) on the outer surface of the cured polymer (232) and/or the polymer layer or parts thereof (233); (i.) thereby obtaining (190) the sole structure (240). The invention also relates to a sole structure and an outsole sole manufactured according to the method and a sports shoe.
