Abstract

An apparatus is an apparatus to which a controller is removably attachable, the controller including an attachment portion and a button, the attachment portion projecting from a side surface and being configured to be attached to a game device, the button being located at the attachment portion. The apparatus includes an accommodation portion, a flange, a user-operable portion, and a pusher. The controller is to be accommodated in the accommodation portion. The accommodation portion is defined by an inner surface including at least an upper surface that faces downward, a lower surface that faces upward, and a bottom surface that faces forward, and the accommodation portion is open forward. The flange includes a flange inner surface that extends downward from the upper surface and is opposed to the bottom surface, and the flange is configured to cover at least a part of a front surface of the attachment portion of the controller accommodated in the accommodation portion. The user-operable portion is configured to be operated by a user. The pusher is configured to project downward from the upper surface as the user-operable portion is operated, and to press down the button of the controller accommodated in the accommodation portion.
