Abstract

The present disclosure provides a moving device having a simpler configuration, and a movement method. A moving device 300 moves on a tube sheet of a multi-tubular reactor. The moving device 300 includes: an insertion member insertion-retraction module configured to insert and retract a plurality of insertion members respectively into and from different reaction tubes; a cart module 310 including a rotary body 311 that is in contact with the tube sheet and is movable in a first direction on the tube sheet; and a first slide module connected to the cart module 310 in such a manner that the cart module 310 is slidable in the first direction. The insertion member insertion-retraction module is directly or indirectly connected to the cart module. This solves the above problems.
