Abstract

A power tool comprising: a drive housing comprising an air inlet and an air outlet, an assembly movably mounted within the drive housing, wherein the assembly comprises a motor and an air flow passage, a fan configured to generate airflow from the air inlet to the air outlet, a divider configured to divide the drive housing into a first internal section comprising the air inlet and a second internal section comprising the air outlet, the first internal section and the second internal section fluidly linked by the air flow passage, wherein the divider substantially reduces or prevents airflow between the first and second internal sections except through the air flow passage, wherein the divider comprises a labyrinth structure, at least part of which is coupled to the assembly.
