Abstract

The disclosure relates to a valve assembly (24) for controlling a flow of a first liquid (36) and a flow of a second liquid (40) in a vehicle. The valve assembly (24) comprises a valve body (28) having a first supply path (34) for the first liquid (36), a first return path (50) for the first liquid (36), a second supply path (38) for the second liquid (40), a second return path (52) for the second liquid (40), a first outlet (42) for supplying liquid (36, 40) to a first component, a first inlet (54) for receiving liquid (36, 40) from the first component, a second outlet (46) for supplying liquid (36, 40) to a second component, and a second inlet (56) for receiving liquid (36, 40) from the second component. The valve assembly (24) further comprises a singular valve element (64) movably supported on or in the valve body (28). Moreover, the disclosure is directed to a valve system comprising at least two valve assemblies (24) and to a method for controlling a flow of a first liquid (36) and a flow of a second liquid (40) in a vehicle using a valve assembly (24).
