Abstract

An electric outboard machine (1) for propelling a boat, includes: a case (3) provided in a lower part of the machine; a propeller (51) rotatably supported in the case; and a motor (55) provided in the case and rotates the propeller. The case (3) includes: a cylindrical portion (5) including an axis, being formed in a cylindrical shape, and being provided with a motor accommodating portion (10); an outer lid (41, 81) coupled to a peripheral edge portion (5B) of an opening portion (5A) on a front side of the cylindrical portion, and closes the opening portion; a plate-shaped member (31) provided in the cylindrical portion behind the outer lid and in front of the motor accommodating portion, having a plate-like outer shape extending in up-down and left-right directions in an overall view, being fitted into the cylindrical portion and fixed to the cylindrical portion, and a connecting member (46) connects the outer lid and the plate-shaped member to each other.
