Abstract

An aircraft wing, comprising: a fixed wing 12 an outboard wing section 14; and a hinge assembly 52 connecting the outboard wing section to the fixed wing. The wing is configurable between a flight configuration and a ground configuration. The hinge assembly 52 comprises: a fore set of interleaving lugs 58 and an aft set of interleaving lugs 58; an actuator, such as a Geared Rotary Actuator (GRA) 66, located between the fore set of lugs and the aft set of lugs. The wing also comprises: a latch assembly 68, located in the fixed wing and inboard of the actuator 66; a fore latching arm 74 and an aft latching arm 76. The latch assembly 68 comprises an aft latch pin 72, deployable in the aft direction to latch the aft latching arm 76, and a fore latch pin 74, deployable in a forward direction, to latch the fore latching arm 74.
