Abstract
A method for recycling a thermoplastic material includes the steps of: a) subjecting the thermoplastic material and a formulation including a plurality of thermoplastic polyurethane particles and a chain extender to a mixing process, thereby obtaining a first mixture; and b) subjecting the first mixture to granulation, thereby obtaining a plurality of organic polymer granules. The thermoplastic material is present in an amount ranging from 50 parts by weight to 90 parts by weight, and has a weight-average molecular weight ranging from 40000 g/mol to 90000 g/mol. The plurality of thermoplastic polyurethane particles are present in an amount ranging from 10 parts by weight to 50 parts by weight, and has a weight-average molecular weight ranging from 80000 g/mol to 200000 g/mol. The chain extender is present in an amount ranging from 0.5 parts by weight to 2 parts by weight.
