Abstract

The disclosure notably relates to a device for enabling combined measurements of a sample 100 using a first measurement apparatus 210 and an optical microscope 220 simultaneously. The sample is located inside of a chamber 211 of the first measurement apparatus. The system comprises a collection quadric surface mirror 310 located inside the chamber of the first measurement apparatus. The system further comprises a relay module 400 positioned between the collection mirror and a compensating module located outside the chamber of the first measurement apparatus. The relay module is configured to relay the light beam reflected by the collection mirror to the compensating module. The system further comprises the compensating module. Such a device forms an improved solution for enabling the effective combined measurement using a first characterization technique and an optical microscope simultaneously.
