Abstract

A computer-implemented method for aircraft fault diagnosis and maintenance recommendation includes receiving (850) fault reports associated with at least one fault message and receiving (852) maintenance action data associated with the fault message. The method includes determining (854) a fix effectiveness based on the maintenance action data and computing (856) a recommendation confidence for one or more recommendation actions based on the fix effectiveness. The method includes assigning (858) a concurrent fault (CF) factor to the fault message based on the number of other concurrent fault messages. The method includes computing (860) a service issue composite (SIC) factor for each of the recommendation actions using at least the recommendation confidence and the CF Factor and displaying (862) the recommendation actions and the SIC factors in a graphical user interface.
