Abstract
The present disclosure provides a method for improving patching of a software system. Patching information is considered and patching process information about a patching process is derived. The patching process information is subjected to analysis for vulnerabilities induced by the patching process. Based on the identified vulnerabilities, action requests for requesting actions to mitigate the vulnerabilities are generated and submitted to the software system. The method enables efficient identification and mitigation of potential security risks introduced during software patching.
