Abstract
A connector health monitoring device (100) for health assessment testing of an electrical connector includes a device housing (140) that includes a body (142) forming a cavity (150). The device housing has a mating end (112) configured for mating with the electrical connector. The connector health monitoring device includes a control element (160) received in the cavity. The control element includes a processor (165) for performing a health assessment of the electrical connector. The connector health monitoring device includes a testing probe (110) held by the device housing. The testing probe includes a mating interface (102) for mating with a testable contact of the electrical connector. The testing probe arranged at the mating end for mating with the testable contact. The testing device is operably coupled to the control element.
