Abstract
The invention is related to a system for converting an input voltage into an output voltage by using multiple converter stages, comprising a first converter 1 that is configured to convert the input voltage to an intermediate voltage; and a second converter 2 that is configured to convert the intermediate voltage into the output voltage and to communicate information to a first converter 1; wherein the first converter 1 is configured to set at least one operational parameter of the first converter 1 to a target value based on the received information, such that the first converter 1 converts the input voltage into the intermediate voltage based on the at least one operational parameter.
