Abstract
This application relates to the field of communication technologies and provides a communication method and a related device. The method is applied to a network device, including: indicating configuration information of a physical downlink control channel PDCCH of a target search space SS, where the configuration information includes a maximum number of retransmissions; determining a retransmission time domain position of the SS PDCCH; and repeatedly sending the SS PDCCH in the retransmission time domain position until the maximum number of retransmissions is reached. Therefore, the SS PDCCH is repeatedly sent for a plurality of times in a determined retransmission time domain position, until the maximum number of retransmissions is reached, so that a corresponding transmission performance requirement can be satisfied, thereby reducing loss of wireless communication, enhancing downlink coverage, and improving communication quality.
