Abstract

An electric vehicle V includes a drive unit 4, a pair of side frames 61a and 61b extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction DL and arranged with a spacing therebetween in a vehicle lateral direction DW, and a support mechanism 6 that includes brackets 62a and 62b respectively attached to the pair of side frames 61a and 61b and supports the drive unit 4 between the brackets 62a and 62b. The drive unit 4 includes an electric motor 41 having a rotational axis extending in the vehicle longitudinal direction DL, and an inverter 42 configured to control electric power supplied to the electric motor 41, and the inverter 42 is disposed on one side in the vehicle lateral direction DW relative to the electric motor 41 in such a situation that at least a portion of the inverter 42 overlaps the brackets 62a and 62b in a side view of the electric vehicle V as viewed from the one side in the vehicle lateral direction DW.
