Abstract

An electric vehicle V includes a drive unit 4, a pair of side frames 61a and 61b, and a cross member 63. The drive unit 4 is mounted to the cross member 63 at a plurality of mounting portions 641a and 641b arranged so as to sandwich the rotational axis in the vehicle lateral direction (DW), and is supported relative to the pair of side frames 61a and 61b via the cross member 63. The cross member 63 includes a main body portion 631, and a pair of coupling portions 632a and 632b, and each of the coupling portions 632a and 632b is coupled to a corresponding one of the side frames 61a and 61b. The main body portion 631 includes an intermediate portion 63a located between two of the mounting portions 641a and 641b that sandwich the rotational axis, and arm portions 63b1 and 63b2 extending outward in the vehicle lateral direction DW from the intermediate portion 63a. The main body portion 631 is formed such that a vertical dimension of the arm portions 63b1 and 63b2 decreases from an inner side toward an outer side in the vehicle lateral direction DW, and the arm portions 63b1 and 63b2 are connected to the coupling portions 632a and 632b at outer ends thereof. The outer ends of the arm portions 63b1 and 63b2 are aligned with the mounting portions 641a and 641b in the vehicle lateral direction DW.
