Abstract

An electric vehicle V includes a drive unit 4, a pair of side frames 61a and 61b, and a cross member 63. The drive unit 4 is mounted to the cross member 63 at a plurality of mounting portions 641. The cross member 63 includes a main body portion 631, and a pair of coupling portions 632a and 632b, and each of the coupling portions 632a, 632b is coupled to a corresponding side frame 61a, 61b. The main body portion 631 is divided into a first member A1 forming an intermediate portion 63a located between two mounting portions 641a and 641b, and second members B1 and B2 each forming an arm portion 63b1, 63b2 extending in the vehicle lateral direction DW outward of the intermediate portion 63a. In a front view of the electric vehicle V, defining a straight line connecting a rotational-shaft center C3 of the electric motor 41 and respective centers C2a, C2b of the two mounting portions 641a, 641b as a first virtual line VL1, and a straight line extending perpendicular to the first virtual line VL1 as a second virtual line VL2, the second members B1 and B2 extend below the mounting portions 641a and 641b, beyond the second virtual line VL2 in the vehicle lateral direction DW, and include a reinforcement portion E overlapping the first member A1 in the vehicle lateral direction DW.
