Abstract

A lower structure for an electric vehicle includes: a side sill 2 that is disposed outside a battery pack 1; a floor cross member 41 that is joined to the upper part of a floor panel 42; and a reinforcing bracket 30 that is disposed on the lower side of the outer part of the floor cross member 41 with the floor panel 42 interposed therebetween, wherein the reinforcing bracket 30 includes vertical wall parts 31 and 32 that are spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction and are joined to the side sill 2 and the floor part, and an inside wall part 33 that connects the vertical wall parts, is spaced on the outer part of the battery pack, inclines downward as the inside wall part extends outward, and extends to the lower part of the side sill 2, and fragile portions 31h and 32h are provided in the outer portions of the upper parts of the vertical wall parts 31 and 32.
