Abstract

An electric vehicle V includes a drive unit 4, a pair of side frames 61a and 61b, a battery case 7, and a cross member 81 disposed forward of the battery case 7 and extending in the vehicle lateral direction DW between the pair of side frames 61a and 61b. The drive unit 4 includes an electric motor 41 configured to be driven by electric power stored in the battery, and the cross member 81 includes a rear-facing wall 812a facing toward the battery case 7. The rear-facing wall 812a is inclined downward toward a front side in the vehicle longitudinal direction DL, and the battery case 7 is disposed with a downward offset relative to the rear-facing wall 812a.
