Abstract

An electric vehicle V includes a drive unit 4 serving as a driving power source for propelling the vehicle, a vehicle body frame F including a pair of side frames 61a and 61b extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction DL and spaced apart from each other in a vehicle lateral direction DW, and a battery case 7 configured to accommodate a battery, and supported between the pair of side frames 61a and 61b and disposed at a predetermined height position. The drive unit 4 includes an electric motor 41 configured to be driven by electric power stored in the battery, and at least the electric motor 41 of the drive unit 4 is disposed below the battery case 7.
