Abstract

The invention is directed to a mechanism (1) comprising a fixed body (2), an actuator (3), a wheel (4) and a flap (5), a first driving means through which the actuator (3) reciprocally rotationally drives the wheel (4), a second driving means through which the wheel (4) consequently reciprocally drives the flap (5), between at least a closed position (51) and an open position (52) and a bypass forcefully releasable to disconnect the second driving means so as to allow a movement of the flap (5) with respect to the wheel (4), between any of the positions (51, 52).The invention is also directed to an electric car charging connector (8) comprising such a mechanism to protect, at least some of its terminals (81, 82).
