Abstract

There is described a power management system (100), comprising: i) at least two power modules (110, 110), including a first power module (110) and a second power module (111); ii) at least one output (120); iii) at least two switches (130, 131), including a first switch (130) to connect the first power module (110) and/or the second power module (111) to the output (120), and a second switch (131) to connect the first power module (110) with the second power module (111); and iv) a control system, configured to: a) identify an electric path that connects at least one of the power modules (110, 111) to the output (120); b) adjust, in particular equalize, the voltage of the output (120) and the voltage of the at least one power module (110, 111) in the electric path with respect to each other; and c) use at least one of the switches (130, 131) to open/close the electric path.
