Abstract
With the aim of providing a rubber composition for tread that is excellent in wear resistance and rupture resistance without deteriorating other physical properties, a rubber composition contains a rubber component, carbon black, silica, and a resin, wherein the rubber component includes high-purity natural rubber having a nitrogen content of 0.3 mass% or less, the resin has a softening point of 130°C or higher and a content of 1 part by mass or more per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, and total content of the carbon black and the silica is 50 parts by mass or more per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component.
