Abstract

A method for analyzing flow entities in a hydrocarbon reservoir including steps of providing (S100) a simulation model (M) of the hydrocarbon reservoir comprising a plurality of flow entities, said simulation model being able to control flow at each flow entity independently and being able to determine an output value, and a step of determining (S200) an interference value (Vi) between a first flow entity and a second flow entity by subtracting a first output value (Vout1) determined from a first simulation via the simulation model (M), and in which in which a flow at first flow entity is controlled and flow at second flow entity is cancelled, and a second output value (Vout2) determined from a second simulation via the simulation model (M), and in which a flow a second flow entity is controlled and flow at first flow entity is cancelled, said interference value being representative of influence between first flow entity and second flow entity.
