Abstract

Shown and described is Process engineering unit (1) for the mounting of one or more components (7) for a process engineering process and/or biotechnology process, comprising: a housing (2) with one or more housing mounting sections (5, 5') for mounting at least one component (7) of the one or more components (7), a mounting element (3) with one or more mounting element mounting sections (6) for mounting at least one component (7) of the one or more components (7), and one or more components (7) for a process engineering process and/or biotechnology process, wherein the one or more components (7) comprise one or more fluid-interacting components (16) mounted to the one or more housing mounting sections (5, 5') and/or the one or more mounting element mounting sections (6), wherein the one or more fluid-interacting components (16) are configured for conveying and/or interacting with a fluid used in a process engineering process and/or biotechnology process, wherein the mounting element (3) is, preferably detachably, connected to the housing (2). In order to provide an improved access to the mounted components (7) of the process engineering unit (1) and, preferably, reduces electrical interferences, it is provided that the mounting element (3) is provided pivotable between an operating position at least in sections, preferably completely, obstructing access to a primary housing mounting section (5) of the one or more housing mounting sections (5, 5') and a service position at least in sections permitting access to the primary housing mounting section (5) of the one or more housing mounting sections (5, 5').
