Abstract

An electronic device includes: a sensor layer including a sensing area, and a peripheral area adjacent to the sensing area; and a sensor driver to drive the sensor layer. The sensor layer includes: a first electrode extending in a first direction, and including a concave portion; a second electrode crossing the first electrode, extending in a second direction crossing the first direction, and including a protruding portion protruding to engage with the concave portion; a third electrode overlapping with a portion of the first electrode, and not overlapping with the concave portion and the protruding portion; and a fourth electrode overlapping with a portion of the second electrode, and not overlapping with the concave portion and the protruding portion.
