Abstract
A persistent memory device is disclosed. A non-volatile storage (345) may store a data, and a volatile storage (340) may cache the data. A cache controller (360) may manage access to the data in the non-volatile storage (345) and the volatile storage (340). The persistent memory device may include a storage for a table to associate a first number of dirty pages of the data to copy from the volatile storage (340) to the non-volatile storage (345) with an energy level. A second controller may be configured to copy a dirty page of the data from the volatile storage (340) to the non-volatile storage (345) based at least in part on a second number of dirty pages of the data in the volatile storage (340) exceeding the first number of dirty pages.
