Abstract
The present invention relates to a negative electrode active material, a method for manufacturing the negative electrode active material, and a negative electrode including the negative electrode active material. The negative electrode active material includes porous particles and an amorphous carbon coating layer surrounding the porous particles, wherein the porous particles include metal particles and silicon nanowires in pores of the porous particles, and wherein ends of the silicon nanowires are attached to the metal particle.
