Abstract

Provided in the present application are a battery welding apparatus and a battery welding method. The battery welding apparatus includes a conveyor line, a cell feeding device, a connecting piece feeding device, and a welding device. The conveyor line includes a plurality of carriers arranged in a conveying direction of the conveyor line. The cell feeding device includes at least two cell feeding mechanisms; the at least two cell feeding mechanisms are respectively configured to feed at least two battery cell sets into at least two target carriers of the conveyor line, and each of the battery cell sets includes at least two cells. The connecting piece feeding device is configured to feed connecting pieces into the at least two target carriers. The welding device is arranged on a lateral side of the conveyor line. The conveyor line is movably arranged to sequentially convey the at least two target carriers to the welding device for welding. The welding device is configured to weld the connecting pieces and the at least two cells in the target carrier. The battery welding apparatus of the present application improves the welding efficiency.
