Abstract

The proposed embodiments address an unambiguous identification of entities within a knowledge graph of industrial automation components in response to natural language queries. The system comprises a memory with application modules and a processor for executing these modules. The entity extraction module utilizes a large language model to process natural language queries and match them to normalized entity names. The entity linking module identifies and associates linked entities within the knowledge graph. The proposed embodiments allow developers to interact with the system using natural language, enhancing usability and efficiency through techniques such as prompt engineering.
